How do you get past the bridge in zelda twilight princess?

I really need help. I cannot get past the bridge when trying to save the fourth monkey in zelda twilight princess. I have gotten past blowing up the boulder but I can’t get past the bridge over the water. The evil water snakes keep bumping me off! Help!

   Walk slowly. As you get near, they will pop up their head. Then walk around them. Once you have the boomerang, they are easily beaten.

   u will see a yellow arrow come over them on the tile they are under,,, take out ur boomerang and z-target them,,, (z-target before u take out boomerang i found it much easier) they will fly up in the air and then i think u have 2 slash them with ur sword a few times,,, make sure u arent on the same tile as them,,, please comment my answer as i am trying 2 get 2 level 2,,,,, hope i helped!!!!!!!
