If you were stating what the theme of Cinderella is, would you say that this theme differs in the Grimm fairy tale from the Theme in Disney’s fairy tale, or would you say they both have the same theme?

    Though the two versions of the story are notably different, I think the underlying theme and moral to the story is the same: a person’s self-worth does not lie in their current status within society and thus can change, perhaps suddenly, for better or worse depending on what kind of person you are.
