There are two seven year old girls that live next door, they just moved in a couple of weeks ago. (they are cousins but live in the same apartment). They come over to my patio to play with my pets
and like to hang out with me. They invited me to go to Chucky Cheese
tomorrow for one of their birthdays (approved by the parents, I presume). I declined but only because I think I would feel out of place there. I don’t know their parents except to say
hi to them in when I see them outside. I saw the disappointment in their faces when
I had to make up a lie for the reason I couldn’t go to the birthday party.
I don’t think I had any other choice, though. I am too old to be going
to little girl birthday parties. I’m 48 (guy)
