and like to hang out with me. They invited me to go to Chucky Cheese
tomorrow for one of their birthdays (approved by the parents, I presume). I declined but only because I think I would feel out of place there. I don’t know their parents except to say
hi to them in when I see them outside. I saw the disappointment in their faces when
I had to make up a lie for the reason I couldn’t go to the birthday party.
I don’t think I had any other choice, though. I am too old to be going
to little girl birthday parties. I’m 48 (guy)
