So I am curious what a good gift card amount would be? I have a cousin (age 10) I plan to buy for (close cousin) Her mom doesn’t have a ton of money so I need to make sure the gift card covers every penny spent. I don’t know how much pizza costs at Chucky Cheese though, it has been a long time since I last went.
I am also looking to buy a gift card for my brothers (ages 11 and 12), My parents can afford to pay for some of the bill but I don’t want them to have to pay for a ton so again I’d like the card to cover pizza and tokens without my parents having to spend much.

I know Chucky Cheese has pizza/token combos but I haven’t been able to located details on these on the site. Anyone been recently and can give me an idea of how much I should spend on these gift cards?

Would $25 be enough for my cousin (+her mom) and would $50 be enough for my brothers (+ my mom and dad)? Or should I spend $10 or so more on each card?

We’ve got 29 relatives (including our 3 children) to buy for this year so I am trying not to spend a whole lot…

What do you guys think should I rent the club anyway or should I just celebrate in Chucky Cheese?

My daughters first birthday is in November and I want to make it special yet simple. All I wanted was to have a little get together in a club with a cake, decorations, food and music. My hubby does not want me to rent a club because number one the club does not let you bring your own drinks and I can’t afford to have an open bar. He thinks it would be embarrassing to have a party without the drinks. The club will allow you to have a bar tender for additional money but the guests would have to buy their own drinks. He also thinks it would be embarrassing to have them pay for their own drinks. I think its a baby’s party their doesn’t necssarily have to be drinking it will be during the day any way. ( I can’t do the party in my house).

How can I make myself a “punk princess” costume for Halloween without spending a lot?

For Halloween I felt like changing things up and dressing up in a girly-punk outfit - the style called “punk princess”. Think Avril Lavigne’s style now-adays, I guess. Edgy punkiness without the androgenous edge. I don’t have a ton of money to spend, so any suggestions on how to save cash is very appreciated. Any ‘diy’ tips on pulling off punk inexpensively?
