we are talking about this in our school a few days ago and a tried to look for the real stories also and i think i found the real ones. i have the link here only for cinderella,snow white and rapunzel.

I don’t remember off hand who wrote the stories but Cinderella’s stepsisters did cut off parts of their foot to try on the slipper. But as for the cheating prince the story always ended when they got married and lived happily ever after. Another one is Little Red Riding Hood, many stories and rhymes were changed over the years because children would get scared. Three little pigs.
