Where is a good place to have a small and short birthday party for a ONE year old BESIDES Chucky Cheese?

At home, a pizza place, a park…
I doubt your one year old would remember his/her first birthday, so I guess you should have a small, intimate party at your house or the park with a couple of close family members and friends.
I think you should do it at the park or in your backyard. That way you can arrange to have a picnic or a barbecue there. Those are always fun and you don’t have to drain your wallet trying to go all out.
i had my sons at a park. there were older children there as well and it gave them something to do other than sitting around. and being outside was really nice as well
